Three Bear's Porridge

This week our big book was Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
So today we made Three Bear's Porridge.

We made a big pot of porridge.

We could sprinkle whatever we liked on our bowl of porridge, brown sugar, raisins, coconut, plums and chocolate buttons.

Then we ate!

 Some of us came back for seconds,

and even licked the pot and spoon!

Hui!

We danced to Hippie from Mississippi using the rakau to keep the beat.

We loved it!

Pyjama Day

 We all wore our PJs and brought in our special toys for Pyjama day. We introduced our special friends to the rest of the class.

WANTED 1 million lids!

In Room 16, we decided it would be very exciting to make a very big collection. So we are collecting plastic lids. We started collecting milk bottle lids but now we are collecting any plastic bottle lids.

 Today we thought we would check to see how many we have. We counted them into 10s,

and then 10X10 = 100.
So far we have 616.
We have quite away to go to reach a million, but we are getting closer to 1000.
Please help us, and keep those lids coming in!
